In December 2004, Demetrio (graphic artist and advertising photographer), Roberto (architect with a web passion), Angela (accountant) and Fabio (sales director), created KALìt, an editorial project that promotes the calabrian territory (KALìt is the abbreviation of KALabria in Testa). From 2004 to 2007, together with the Aspromonte Park Authority and the Agrarian University, they studied the theme “Territorio” by producing videos, magazines, books, and web sites. At the same time they also advertised for some calabrian companies. As always…Demetrio is looking new things. He’s at the research of a new type of paper where he can print photos of landscapes or designs that he makes. In December 2007 KALìt printed its first rice paper. The topic was the historical “spadare” of Scilla. The pictures, printed in that delicate and particular paper, had an old fashioned appearance, that urged the whole team to experiment other types of printing and different support applications.
